Playing a basic craps game is fairly simple but a player needs an understanding of the table layout and betting methods before they start to play for real money.
In the basic online game, you will be the shooter and will throw the dice, it will be just you against the house.
First of all, you will need to place your pass line bet.
The gameplay can be then broken down to two phases ‘the come out roll’ and the ‘point rolls’;
Come Out Roll
If you shoot a 7 or 11 on the come out roll you win [this is known as a natural] if you roll a 2,3 or 12 you lose. If 4,5,6,8,9,10 or rolled you have established a point number.
Now the point number has been established the second part of the game begins. In this part of the game, you are trying to roll your point number again before you roll a 7. If you roll your point number you win if the 7 is rolled you lose.
For instance, if you had rolled a 5 on the come out roll this would be the point number you would be rolling for and you’d keep on rolling the dice until the 5 came up and you would win the bet. If you rolled a 7 before the 5 came up you would lose the bet.
Well yes and no this is the bare basics of the game and sticking with this simple betting you can have fun and win but the twist is that when playing craps you have dozens of other bets you can place to make for an even more gripping game. A good way to slowly immerse yourself in the game is each time you play try a different bet and you will soon understand the best ones to play that come with the best odds.
